These are images that I have captured on film with my setup.

Don't miss my CCD images page!!!!

This one is a wide field of the base of Gemini, all of Auriga and part of Orion's arm and Taurus's head. I took it on April 10th 2000. It was my first wide field and if you look you can see many faint fuzzies Taken in dark location in Warren county, Missouri.

Equipment: 35mm Minolta XGSE Riding Piggyback on my LX200 in Altaz mode. 2 minute exposure at f/2.8 on Kodak Gold 800

Here's the same picture with an added twist. I have gone in and placed the constellation lines, boundaries and marked many of the more interesting objects in the shot.

Had fun doing it in PowerPoint too. Got information on lines and such from my trusty Peterson's Field Guide.

Here is a prime focus picture of the moon. Taken at f/10 through my LX200 10" with my same 35mm Minolta XGSE.

I let the camera choose the exposure time since the object was so bright and filled such a large amount of the field of view of the camera.

Taken on Kodak Gold 800.

This was taken in my front yard in St. Louis.

This one I took from my front yard on the evening of January 20, 2001. I live in a very light polluted suburb of St. Louis.

Don't tell me you can't do a thing when there is light pollution!!!! J

35mm Minolta XGSE mounted piggyback on LX200 on polar wedge. 60 second exposure at f/2.8 on Kodak Gold 800.
